Terms and Conditions
Services and Fees

RefinedRoomDesigns shall exercise reasonable skill and care in performing interior design services.

The client will pay the agreed fee and expenses as set out in the Client Agreement.

Invoices are due within 7 days and RefinedRoomDesigns reserves the right to cease work if fees are not paid by the due date.
Changes and Additional Work

If there is a variation in the agreed scope of works, RefinedRoomDesigns will identify this in a Change Notification Form which will outline any fee or program implications.

Additional charges may be made for extra work arising from changes or delays in client instructions.
Client Responsibilities

The client will provide RefinedRoomDesigns with necessary information and decisions to suit the project timetable.

The client is responsible for obtaining necessary approvals and permits for the design work.
Purchasing and Delivery

When RefinedRoomDesigns purchases products on the client's behalf, a purchasing fee will apply.

The designer will split the trade discount with the client.

A professional receiving company will be engaged to handle delivery and installation, with the costs passed on to the client.
Warranties and Liability

Merchandise is covered exclusively by the manufacturer's warranty, with no additional warranties from RefinedRoomDesigns.

RefinedRoomDesigns' total liability to the client shall not exceed the total compensation received under the agreement.
Intellectual Property and Use of Work Product

Drawings, specifications and other design documents remain the property of RefinedRoomDesigns.

The client is granted a non-exclusive license to use the work product solely for the purposes of the project.
By engaging RefinedRoomDesigns, the client agrees to these terms and conditions. The full terms can be provided upon request.
